Description of files found in .../NetBSD-1.2.1/i386/floppies:

All files ending in .fs are NetBSD file systems images intended
to be copied to floppy disks. Please read the INSTALL document to
learn how to use them.

The .gz versions of the files are identical except that they have been
compressed with gzip, the Gnu file compression utility. Note that gzip'ed
files are NOT decompressable with the DOS "unzip" utility that
unpacks .zip files.

CKSUMS		checksums of all the other files, made with cksum(1)

inst121.fs	Installation file system image, see INSTALL for details
inst121.fs.gz	The same, compressed with gzip
kcadp121.fs	Boot floppy with Adaptec SCSI drivers, see INSTALL for details
kcadp121.fs.gz	The same, compressed with gzip
kcoth121.fs	Boot floppy with other SCSI drivers, see INSTALL for details
kcoth121.fs.gz	The same, compressed with gzip
upgr121.fs	Upgrade file system image, see INSTALL for details
upgr121.fs.gz	The same, compressed with gzip
