Description of files found in .../NetBSD-1.2.1/i386/binary: This directory contains the security software binary distribution. Please read README.export-control and INSTALL for details. To summarize, it is against United States law to export cryptographic software without the express permission of the U.S. Government. Every directory contains a CKSUMS file that contains checksums of all the other files made with the cksum(1) utility. Please check the integrity of your distribution if possible. The "Tarfiles" directory contains the gzip compressed tar file of the binary distribution binary distribution of the security software. It is named "secr121.tar.gz". The contents of this file is described fully in the INSTALL document. The exact same file, named slightly differently (secr121.aa), is in the directory named secr121. Were the security distribution larger than could fit on a single floppy disk, the "Tarfiles" directory would contain the unsplit version of the file, and the "secr121" directory would contain the split version of it. However, since the file is small, both of these directories contain essentially the same thing, and the two versions exist only for consistency with the setup in the "binaries" directory. See INSTALL for details on installing this software on your machine.
